An interesting evening…

Nabacu hosted its first free seminar last night.  Aifei Wang, M.Ac., L.Ac., discussed the fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We learned about the themes of device, technique, method and direction and explored the theory of Yin and Yang.  Now we know that upon arising, we should be aware of our place in the Universe.  It’s a good idea to breathe in fresh air from outside every morning and to summon the energy of nature to ourselves.  Participants left with the idea to be mindful of how Yin and Yang are always present and flowing in everything we encounter…and we will try to remain in a state of balance and avoid the extremes in life…

Nabacu Eastern Medicine attended Georgetown University’s wellness fair on Thursday, October 21st.  We enjoyed meeting many who came by to inquire about how acupuncture treatment could help them address health concerns in the areas of hypo-thyroidism, Parkinson’s Disease symptoms, back pain and headache, among other common maladies.  Aifei Wang, M.Ac., L.Ac., and Maureen Whippen greeted guests and shared information about Traditional Chinese Medicine.  We also provided people interested in more detailed personal consultations with a free Consultation Card and look forward to receiving these clients at our Rockville location.  Thanks to Georgetown University for inviting us to attend!  Go Hoyas!
